NGO Studies at Alphonse & St Francois:

Due to its level of success as a flats fishery, the Island Conservation Society (NGO) has set up its new offices on Alphonse to monitor the fish stocks and capture data. So far they have been very impressed with what the guides and guests have accomplished, both in the nurturing of the species and in educating fly fishers on correct fish release and handling methods. ICS will continue to play a vital role in the future of Alphonse and St. Francois atolls’ conservation ethic.
