The more energetic can use the non-motorized water sports facilities, snorkeling around the Alphonse lagoon or wandering the shoreline watching the island life go about its business. 

Water Sports
The island is equipped with a number of non motorized watersports including peddle boats, windsurfers, laser sailboats and kayaks. Any one of these is the perfect way to explore the vast lagoon of Alphonse Island and is available at no extra cost to Alphonse Island Resort residents.

Bicycles
Every guest to Alphonse Island Resort will have their own bicycle as the mode of transport during their stay. This is the perfect way to explore Alphonse. There are many small paths and roads cut between the dense coconut groves allowing you access to the most remote places on the island.

Extras
Although a fly fisher's paradise, Alphonse also has other activities to offer. Tennis would be a great way to work off a hearty breakfast or perhaps you would prefer a stroll around the island. A visit to our tortoise pen with its splendid Aldabra Giant Tortoises is a must see. Perhaps an appealing thought would just be to lounge around the pool sipping one of our famous “Alphonse Dream” cocktails while soaking up that luring Indian Ocean sun.
